A new timing gear cover was purchased from Hilborn. This will let us run the fuel pump off the cam.


A couple of transmissions were picked up. The one on the left, a 51' Ford pickup trans was used
 as
this had the open drive shaft.


A front axle assembly was purchased from Speedway Motors. The axle that came with the car was a tube axle
that had been bend beyond repair. It was probably the result of a giant wheelstand.


I received a call saying the motor was ready for pickup. It was brought home and the parts set on to see how
 it was going to look. NOT BAD!


At this point after posting this picture to the Standard 1320 group I was told that the three inch drive was not period
correct.  The pulleys and idler were taken to Dyer's and cut down for a two inch drive setup
